The village is overlooked by the impressive Chateau de Menthon and the imposing twin peaks of Mont Dents de Lanfon or Teeth of the Elephant. Much of the village is built on teh relatively flat area leading to the lake making it easy to get around on foot once you are in the village.  There are wonderful lakeside facilities including large lawns for sun bathing a nice bathing area and a port for renting small boats. There is a ferry boat which picks up on an hourly bais for trips on the lake. On arrival in Menthon a good meeting point is the Cafe de La Place which is directly opposite the church and at the junction of Route des Moulins which is the location of Annecy Apartment Route des Moulins.  This a comfortable apartment for up to 6 people maximum and has all the necessary for a successful stay. There is a nice private garden to relax and read a book after an exciting day exploring the village and nearby alps.

This is delightful 3 bedroom first-floor annecy holiday apartments in a detached house nestled in the hillside of the east coast of the lake.  The first-floor offers a great view of the castle of Menthon Saint Bernard and the lake.  There is an enclosed garden and the shops are 300m away, the lake shore a mere 900m.  Nearby there is horse-riding, sailing and hiking. There is an off road parking space directly outside the property.
